My opinion:
I don't really go see war movies like this except for the time I had to watch them during school. I know that Christopher Nolan has made some other movies that I may or may not have seen, but this is really well done. There are three things that they shown on the screen, the mole (beach - 1 week), the water (1 day), and the air (1 hour). There's really no main character, but the person you do happen to follow is Fionn Whitehead's character, Tommy. His performance as he's a new actor was amazing. Also Harry Styles, I was so impressed. He was amazing. I actually read a book that was in the Dunkirk time period and I did a project on Dunkirk so I could research that topic before seeing the movie so it's good that I had a background on what it was before seeing this. Even if you don't like war movies, but likes Christopher's work I say you should go see this movie or even if it's too late by now you wait for it to come out in DVD or BluRay.

War movies aren't my forte, but I think it just depends on the person who watches it that finds interest in it whether or not they like the genre or not Razz

I actually really wanted to see this movie. I like war movies and just history in general, so I'm definitely going to have to see this when it comes out online
